Apartment Review for Village At Stetson Square - Cincinnati, OH

We moved into Stetson before the complex was complete, and even during the mess of construction, it was cleaner than it is now. Other reviews hit the nail on the head: it's all about appearances. The entries are immaculate, and that's about it. The common areas for tenants are a mess. Full of trash, stains from leaking trash, there's been a empty kitty litter container (still with cat poop) in the garbage room for weeks. There is 1 trash shoot per floor, so most of us have to walk the entire length of the building to take out trash (1 city block). There were other trash rooms open for a while, but the city made them close them b/c of health reasons apparently (because they never emptied them!!).

Overpriced is being polite. This is the most expensive place I've lived and there's no way it's worth it. For 1300 bux a month I find it unacceptable that I have to walk through a minefield of garbage to get to my car. There's been a clogged drain by the garage gate (which is broken about 50% of the time) which creates a lake every time it rains. Take the time to clear that drain? No way, lets spend it on more artwork for the lobby.

The problems I see could be easily fixed, but they spend their money on attracting new people, instead of keeping the people they already have. A little attention to detail and the trash situation would go miles to improving this place. The situation has gotten worse over the last 6 months though, so I wouldn't count on it. I've made complaints and nothing is ever really done to improve it.
