Apartment Review for Sun Valley Apartments - Cincinnati, OH

After living at Sun Valley for a year, I have decided it was totally not worth my being there. The biggest concern is the maintenance issue for Fath Properties. When I first moved in, they had ONE man for two properties and that was just ridiculous. Prior to my moving in, I requested my carpet be replaced because it was dingy-dirty and full of spots. The mgr. told me they had already cleaned the carpet but would do it again. After three soakings, it left a horrible mildew odor that did not leave. Again, I asked for replacement and informed my MGR. that I had health issues (on chemotherapy) and that the smell was keeping me sick to my stomach. NOTHING was done. Being tied into a 13mo. lease was no sunny situation, living in and paying for an apartment that smelled. Then a few mos later, the smell of cigarettes entered into my apt. and dwelled there. I asked my poperty mgr to check it out or see what could be done. It took me asking her over 3 times what was being done about it and still, there was no solution. She didn't seem to care at all about the residents' needs. It was all about money to her. I even had to pay $50 to get 4 new hubcaps on my vehicle after one of them had been stolen at the apartment site! It just seems to me, that Sun Valley wants your money and after you're there, your needs will never be met. I mean seriously, why wait 2-3 mos for something to be repaired?? My Review?? Stay out of the Valley...Sun Valley, that is.
