Apartment Review for Stonegate Apartments - Cincinnati, OH

The aparment complex looks okay. When you move in they tell you about the improvements that are being made. The walls are thin, management makes you sign a lease about rules but do not enforce them;loud neighbors, parties, under age children at the pool unsupervised, broken exercise equipment,crowded pool with unruly kids and sometimes worse parents, feces in hot tub, usually broken...the rest we wont nit pick about. If you live in the old section you share utilities with your neighbors which THEY DO NOT TELL YOU WHEN YOU MOVE IN!! The heat was once paid by the community since the gas is shared..no separate meters..now the apartments pay 15% and the rest is divided up among the apartments..so..if you save and conserve matters not...some empty apts are left with door open all night in winter to heat the street..and face it..you pay for this and any wasteful use of your neighbors. Looks like a good deal but terribly overpriced. Some apartments also have flooding problems that are not mentioned. Have lived here for 4years due to child in school district..The maintenance people have changed..they are nice but only handy men..don't really know what they're doing.If you have an older unit..they clean the carpet and then the years of tracked on dirt come up..poorly insulated..north wind blows in. Buildings need paint and repair.do not recommend it.
